Job summary

Ghobash Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced IT Support Specialist to be the first line of contact for troubleshooting servers, desktops, software, and network availability. You will manage backups, antivirus, patches, user provisioning, and connectivity.

The role requires Windows OS expertise (7/8/8.1/10), MS Office troubleshooting, and collaboration with the L2 team on VMware/Hyper-V infrastructure. MCSE/CCNA and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• MCSE and CCNA certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of desktop and server support experience.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Basic network troubleshooting knowledge.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial point of contact for troubleshooting servers, desktops, software, and network issues.
• Manage backups, antivirus, Windows patches, user/mailbox creation, password resets, and connectivity support.
• Install and troubleshoot issues related to Windows Server OS.
• Provide installation and troubleshooting for Windows 7/8/8.1/10 and MS Office applications.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and MS Office issues; diagnose with users and supervisor.
• Coordinate with L2 team on Network, VMware, and Hyper-V infrastructure.
