Job summary

Whitehats LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior IT Field Engineer to join the technical services team. This role provides hands-on field support, manages IT infrastructure, and resolves issues across customer environments.

You will work onsite, covering Dubai and other Emirates, with travel as required. The position requires 3+ years in IT infrastructure and a Bachelor’s degree, plus strong customer-facing skills and MSP/IT service provider experience.

Whitehats LLC is seeking an experienced Senior IT Field Engineer to join its technical services team in Dubai. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role responsible for providing field support, managing IT infrastructure, and resolving technical issues across customer environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite IT support and technical assistance across customer environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and end-user systems.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking solutions including VLAN, VPN, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi.
• Install, maintain, and support VMware, Hyper-V, and physical server environments.
• Manage security solutions including FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco, Ubiquiti, or similar technologies.
• Support backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data protection.
• Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve complex IT issues.
• Provide field support at customer sites across Dubai and other Emirates.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and field support.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to handle technical discussions.
• Experience working with MSP, IT service providers, or system integrators is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Networking technologies including VLAN, VPN, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi.
• VMware, Hyper-V, and physical server environments.
• FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco, Ubiquiti, or similar solutions.
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam, Acronis, and Azure Backup.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently.
