Job summary
James Patrick partners with a Dubai-based experiential agency to recruit a Senior Immersive Technologist. You will lead technology delivery for high-profile immersive installations, collaborating with digital artists, engineers and suppliers from concept through live delivery.
You will design multi-system solutions, manage equipment, oversee testing and troubleshooting in live events, and leverage a strong network of UAE technical suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in experiential, immersive or interactive technology.
- Hands-on technical knowledge of projection mapping, LED, TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, Unity, sensors, computer vision, spatial audio, media servers and show control.
- Proven experience designing technical solutions and managing multi-supplier projects.
- Strong experience translating creative concepts into technically achievable experiences.
- Experience leading technical installations, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting in live events.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of immersive projects from concept to live delivery.

We’re partnering with a leading Dubai-based experiential agency seeking a Senior Immersive Technologist to lead the technical delivery of a high-profile project.
You’ll work closely with digital artists, creative teams and technical suppliers to bring immersive and interactive experiences to life, from concept through to live delivery.
- 8+ years of experience in experiential, immersive or interactive technology, with a strong portfolio of complex live installations.
- Hands-on technical knowledge of projection mapping, LED, TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, Unity, sensors, computer vision, spatial audio, media servers and show control.
- Proven experience designing technical solutions, integrating multiple systems and managing complex, multi-supplier projects.
- Strong experience working with digital artists and creative teams to translate creative concepts into technically achievable experiences.
- Experience leading technical installations, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting in live event environments.
- Previous experience delivering experiential projects in the UAE, with an established network of local AV and technical suppliers.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to take full technical ownership of a project from concept to completion.
