Job summary

Electra seeks a freelance Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of exhibitions, events, and activations across the UAE. You will plan, budget, schedule, and deliver projects while coordinating closely with clients, suppliers, designers, venues, and contractors to meet milestones.

The role requires 3–5 years of UAE/GCC event management experience, strong planning and communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE/GCC experience managing exhibitions, events, or activations.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of exhibitions, events, and activations including planning, budgeting, scheduling and delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, designers, venues, and contractors to align milestones.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Oversee production, logistics, safety, and UAE regulatory compliance for venues and installations.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, operations, and dismantling phases.
• Negotiate with vendors to ensure cost control and quality of service.
• Provide updates to clients, manage change requests, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Compile post-event reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.

We’re seeking an experiencedFreelance – Project Managerwith a proven track record in managing events and exhibitions across the UAE. The role covers the full project lifecycle—from concept planning and client coordination to on-site execution—ensuring each project is delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of exhibitions, events, and corporate activations, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery.
• Coordinate closely with clients, suppliers, designers, venue operators, and contractors to align on all project milestones.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Oversee production and logistics workflows, ensuring build quality, safety, and compliance with UAE regulations and venue requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, event operations, and dismantling phases.
• Manage vendor negotiations to ensure cost control and service quality.
• Provide continuous updates to clients, manage change requests, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Compile post-event reports with performance insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing exhibitions, events, or activations within the UAE or GCC.
• Strong understanding of event logistics, exhibition stand builds, and technical production.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE regulations governing events and temporary installations.
• Excellent project planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
