Job summary

Electra, a dynamic UAE-based event management company, seeks a Freelance – Project Manager to oversee end-to-end exhibitions, events, and activations across the UAE. You will drive planning, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site execution, ensuring safety and client objectives are met.

The role requires 3–5 years of UAE/GCC experience, strong event logistics knowledge, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and venues, with some travel and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE/GCC experience in exhibitions, events, or activations.
• Strong understanding of event logistics, stand builds, and production.
• Knowledge of UAE event regulations for temporary installations.
• Excellent planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic a plus.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of exhibitions, events, and activations including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, designers, venue operators and contractors on milestones.
• Prepare detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for timely delivery.
• Oversee production and logistics, ensuring build quality, safety, and UAE compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, operations, and dismantling phases.
• Negotiate with vendors to control costs and ensure service quality.
• Provide updates to clients, manage change requests, ensure satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.
• Compile post-event reports with insights and recommendations.

We're seeking an experienced Freelance – Project Manager with a proven track record in managing events and exhibitions across the UAE. The role covers the full project lifecycle—from concept planning and client coordination to on-site execution—ensuring each project is delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of exhibitions, events, and corporate activations, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery.
• Coordinate closely with clients, suppliers, designers, venue operators, and contractors to align on all project milestones.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Oversee production and logistics workflows, ensuring build quality, safety, and compliance with UAE regulations and venue requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, event operations, and dismantling phases.
• Manage vendor negotiations to ensure cost control and service quality.
• Provide continuous updates to clients, manage change requests, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Compile post-event reports with performance insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing exhibitions, events, or activations within the UAE or GCC.
• Strong understanding of event logistics, exhibition stand builds, and technical production.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE regulations governing events and temporary installations.
• Excellent project planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
