Job summary

DU is seeking a senior telecom network engineer to manage fault and incident resolution across IGW and fixed voice networks. You will coordinate with internal teams, monitor health checks, and drive timely problem resolution while ensuring adherence to SLAs.

Required extensive experience with Huawei Soft switches, Genband CS2K, SIP/SS7 protocols, and ITIL-based operations. The role involves formal reporting and disaster recovery readiness in a dynamic telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecom or relevant engineering stream.
• Experience in IGW/networking for telecom industry is required.
• Knowledge of SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN, ITIL and troubleshooting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle fault management and incident resolution within SLAs.
• Analyze incident reports and proactive prevention measures.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for incidents.
• Monitor network health, run checks and highlight findings.
• Coordinate with Second Line operations and vendor teams.
• Support disaster recovery and service restoration activities.
