Senior Hospitality Sales Leader

Job summary

Grand Mercure Dubai City is seeking a Sales professional to drive business in the travel trade segment under the Director of Sales & Marketing. You will implement sales activities, grow a diverse client portfolio, and maintain strong relationships with accounts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least three years in hospitality sales, and excellent communication. You will routinely use MS Office, report weekly activities, and contribute to achieving targets and maximizing revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in similar role in hospitality industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of legal contract language.
• Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values.

Responsibilities

• Implements all sales activities and maximizes opportunities in the assigned area.
• Generates and maintains travel trade customers through sales calls and outreach.
• Maintains high hotel exposure via direct sales, calls, and written communications.
• Ensures coverage of portfolio and accounts management for client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity.
• Provides service that is sincere, warm and enthusiastic, ensuring guests’ and colleagues’ satisfaction at all times.
• Displays a pleasant manner and positive attitude to promote a good company image.
• Maintains highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employees.
• Adheres to company and hotel rules and regulations at all times.
• Uses Microsoft Office and Outlook for reports and client communications.
• Flexible to adapt to sudden increase in working hours as per business needs.
• Submit weekly sales activity report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Develops Prospects Accounts, and implement a Sales Action Plan for each account.
• Implements and executes all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets.
• Keeps updated with client relationships and overall business goals.
• Updates the Director on negotiation events and progress of each group.
