Grand Mercure Dubai City seeks a Leisure Sales Manager to proactively generate new business and manage accounts. You will collaborate with the sales team to meet revenue goals, negotiate rates and contracts, and qualify customers.

The role emphasizes relationship building with agencies and direct clients to maximize market share across Dubai. The position requires at least 3 years in hospitality sales, strong communication, and experience with Opera and CRS/GDS systems.

Qualificações

• Minimum three (3) years of sales experience in hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of legal contract language.
• Proven team leader with high energy and motivation and a track record of living the company's values.
• Proficient understanding of computer systems such as Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• You’re a strong team leader, natural at managing and inspiring others.

Responsabilidades

• Lead hotel’s sales efforts with key leisure market accounts.
• Obtain up to 50-75 new key-prospects weekly.
• Builds client base through outside sales calls, sales blitzes, cold calling, prospecting, direct mail, networking, and referrals.
• Manage day to day customer support with key agency accounts.
• Maintain prospect, independently solicit and book business, focus on customer relationships to achieve optimum market share.
• Identify and pursue prospective transient business from free market information and purchased leads, analyzing data.
• Quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives and close the sale.
• Coordinate and follow-up with other hotel departments to ensure delivery of superior guest service.
• Input market intelligence information to the Sales Information Management System.
