Job summary

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (du) seeks an experienced Engineer Fixed Access Solutions & Aggregation to support and optimize Fixed Access and Aggregation networks. You will troubleshoot issues, escalate to vendors, and ensure timely resolutions within contracted SLAs.

The role requires CCNP, Unix/SysAdmin knowledge, and strong security protocol awareness. Collaboration with planning teams on capacity upgrades is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, network Engineering or IT (any telecom equivalent).
• Cisco Certified Network Professional – CCNP.
• Knowledge of handling Unix, and Infra Virtual Platforms as System Admin.
• Knowledge of Security protocols and Applying WAF and Load Balancing Rules for Application flows.

Responsibilities

• Provide the needed-on time support and troubleshooting for Fixed Access and Aggregation domains.
• Do the needful escalation and involve vendors on time affecting manner and ensuring follow up and problem resolution within SLAs.
• Performing periodic analysis of performance reports and observations to proactively prevent issues.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation/diagrams of existing devices/solutions to help in troubleshooting.
