Job summary

Confidential Employer seeks a Senior Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise network and cybersecurity infrastructure in a UAE government environment. You will lead routing, switching, SD-WAN, and security platforms across critical services with emphasis on availability, integrity, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years hands-on networking and cybersecurity engineering.
• 3+ years in senior/lead capacity.
• Strong expertise in enterprise routing and switching.
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VRF.
• Experience with WLAN, SD-WAN, load balancing, and security platforms.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, and Cisco Firepower.
• Knowledge of IPS/IDS, WAF, proxy filtering, and NAC.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, PAM, and vulnerability management.
• Strong DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and VPN knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructure.
• Manage routing and switching environments for critical services.
• Configure BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VRF, SD-WAN, and WLAN.
• Design highly available network architectures and load balancing.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize enterprise security platforms.
• Administer Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower solutions.
• Manage IPS/IDS, WAF, proxies, web filtering, and NAC.
• Support SIEM, EDR, PAM, and vulnerability management.
• Oversee DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and VPN technologies.
• Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Ensure UAE and international cybersecurity governance compliance.
• Contribute to risk assessments, audits, hardening, and improvements.
• Create network diagrams and security documentation.
