EDGE invites an accomplished Principal Engineer Firmware for Halcon to drive architecture, development, integration, and certification of mission-critical firmware for defence systems. You will lead engineering excellence, guide teams, establish best practices, and shape long-term technology strategy.

In this role you will mentor engineers, chair design reviews, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust firmware solutions that meet regulated industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Lead firmware design and verification for FPGA/microcontroller systems.
• Develop standards and certification practices aligned with defence requirements.
• Mentor teams and contribute to roadmaps and tool strategies.

Responsibilities

• Chair technical design reviews and oversee firmware specs and ICDs.
• Drive architecture, design, integration, and verification across firmware systems.
• Support certification activities within regulated industries.
