Job summary

EDGE is seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer for Halcon to lead the development of high-speed digital hardware solutions for mission-critical defence systems. You will oversee end-to-end hardware design, verification, qualification, and technical leadership across teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive design reviews, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements while maintaining a focus on quality and speed to deliver impactful technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in hardware and/or firmware with a focus on digital hardware design.
• Proven experience in high-speed digital hardware development, verification, qualification testing, and system integration.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, industry standards, and hardware development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, integration, and verification of high-speed digital hardware systems and subsystems.
• Provide technical leadership on hardware architecture, signal integrity, PCB layout, qualification testing, and engineering best practices.
• Plan and lead technical design reviews, ensuring compliance with development specifications and customer requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of hardware development processes and standards.
