Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
10+ years of FPGA or microcontroller firmware experience.
Strong firmware design, verification, validation, testing, and hardware integration experience.
Understanding of systems engineering processes, requirements management, design, verification, certification and configuration management.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, verify firmware for FPGA and microcontroller-based embedded systems.
Provide technical leadership on firmware architecture, coding standards, verification methods, and certification requirements.
Lead design reviews, develop firmware specifications, interface control documents, and ensure best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and support improvement of firmware development tools and roadmaps.
