Job summary

RTC-1 Employment Services seeks a Finance Assistant Manager for a Dubai-based freight-forwarding firm handling global logistics. The role centers on preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

You will oversee Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, and cash flow, ensuring IFRS compliance and strong internal controls while driving cost optimization and finance-related system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, supply chain, or multinational services.
• Must have strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, UAE VAT, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and advanced Excel; able to present financials to non-finance stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, audits, tax regulations, and corporate financial policies.
• Drive financial analysis, process improvements, cost optimization, and finance-related system or business improvement projects.
