About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive - Engineering to join one of the outlets of Jumeirah Mina Al Salam

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Supervises and manages the daily activities of all Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.
• Ensure that the property and assets are maintained in the highest order through the management of the "Jumeirah Engineering Management System" and the appointment of suitable competent personnel.
• Monitor completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met.
• Assist in the implementation, co-ordination, and monitoring of the JEMS (Jumeirah Engineering Management System), including the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM, and Work Order Systems.
• Manages grievances, suggestions, and complaints by colleagues and recommends appropriate action to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer.
• Delivers comprehensive monthly reports to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer on activities carried out for the month (if required).
• Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in the hospitality sector.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong technical skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking abilities.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and project management skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
