Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) seeks an ESG professional to support development, implementation and monitoring of sustainability initiatives aligned with international standards and ADNOC Group objectives.

The role focuses on integrating environmental, social and governance considerations across operations, stakeholder engagement, and transparent disclosures in line with GRI, SASB, TCFD, and related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 8 years of ESG experience in a large organization within the gas processing or energy industry is ideal.
• In-depth knowledge of global, regional and local ESG/Sustainability standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, GHG Protocol).
• Familiarity with ESG rating methodologies (MSCI, Sustainalytics).
• Experience leading materiality assessments and ESG reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and rollout of ESG frameworks, policies, and performance metrics.
• Monitor ESG compliance across business units and support internal audits and reporting.
• Conduct ESG risk assessments and contribute to mitigation planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG into decision-making.
• Prepare ESG disclosures and reports in line with international standards and ADNOC guidelines.
• Support stakeholder engagement activities, including community outreach and advocacy.
• Track global ESG trends and recommend improvements to sustainability practices.
• Plan materiality assessments, benchmarking and stakeholder engagement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related field

Master’s degree preferred
