Job summary

ADNOC seeks an experienced environmental professional to act as the technical reference for all environmental-related issues across operations in Abu Dhabi. You will verify compliance with laws and the company CoPs, and you will help develop and implement environmental standards, policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in environmental management within oil & gas or heavy industry.
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor preferred; strong knowledge of UAE laws and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical reference for all environmental-related issues across operations.
• Verify compliance with laws, standards and the company Code of Practices.
• Develop and implement environmental standards, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Design, coordinate and supervise Environmental Baseline Studies and EIAs for projects.
• Develop performance measures and KPIs for environmental protection and waste management.
• Lead or support environmental audits and training programs.
• Provide expert advisory support to HSE Management and project teams; report on performance and sustainability initiatives.
