Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Verification Engineer for Halcon to lead verification and DT&E activities for embedded software, managing requirements, test procedures, traceability, test execution, and reporting. The role involves supporting software qualification and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience including at least 2 years in software DT&E.
• Strong embedded software verification experience (black-box/white-box) with requirements management and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage software verification plans, test procedures, reports, and requirements traceability across variants.
• Plan and lead embedded software testing and DT&E activities with test benches, simulators, and teams.
• Investigate and resolve test failures and deviations to ensure verification of requirements.
• Prepare and maintain TEMP, VCRM, and other technical documentation; mentor junior verification engineers.
