Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Verification Engineer for Halcon to lead verification and DT&E activities for embedded software, manage requirements, test procedures, traceability, and reporting.

You will support software qualification/certification and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Based in Abu Dhabi, EDGE offers a competitive package and opportunities for growth within a world-class defense technology group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years in software engineering with at least 2 years in software DT&E.
• Strong embedded software verification experience with black-box/white-box testing and traceability.
• Proficiency in C and Python; experience with Jama for requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage verification plans, test procedures, test reports, and requirements traceability across product variants.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead embedded software testing and DT&E activities, including test benches, simulators, resources and test teams.
• Drive investigation and resolution of test failures, deviations, and verification issues, ensuring requirements are verified.
• Prepare and maintain TEMP, VCRM, and technical documentation, while mentoring junior verification engineers.
