Job summary

Knowledge of First Principles Estimating is essential.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with estimation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

As tenders are received, assess type and prioritize with the Estimation Manager.
Review tender documents for scope, risks and complexity; provide feedback.
Evaluate documents, drawings, specs and identify missing information; raise enquiries.
Cross-check quantity take-offs and pricing with proper specs.
Prepare estimates including cost comparison with supplier quotes and procurement.
Ensure compliance with local authority requirements when quoting tenders.
Prepare reports outlining non-quantifiable points for supervisor review.
File BOQ and submit to client; assist Estimation Manager with offer letters and schedules.
Study tender amendments and incorporate client feedback where applicable.
Prepare budget for awarded jobs in coordination with Estimation Manager.
Conduct site inspections for tender understanding and risk assessment; ensure quality standards.
