Brainstorm Headhunting Specialist is seeking an experienced MEP Estimation Engineer – Electrical in Dubai to prepare detailed electrical estimates for building projects, review tender documents, and perform take-offs with a focus on UAE market rates.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in MEP electrical estimation, strong costing and rate analysis skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP systems for commercial, residential, hotel, or high-rise developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in MEP Electrical Estimation.
• Experience with commercial, residential, hotel or high-rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, costing and rate analysis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and MRP/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of UAE electrical market rates.

Job Overview

We are hiring an MEP Estimation Engineer – Electrical for building projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical MEP estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, costing, rate analysis, and tendering, with good knowledge of UAE electrical market rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical MEP estimates for building projects.
• Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for electrical systems.
• Prepare costing, pricing, and rate analysis for tenders.
• Review and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare competitive tender submissions within required deadlines.
• Estimate electrical systems including:
  • LV systems
  • Lighting
  • Power
  • Cable containment
  • Earthing
  • ELV systems
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, procurement, engineering, and project teams.
• Review drawings using AutoCAD and verify quantities against project requirements.
• Maintain estimation, costing, quotation comparison, and tender documentation.
• Use MS Excel and MRP/ERP systems for estimation and commercial analysis.
• Apply UAE electrical market rates to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in MEP Electrical Estimation.
• Experience with commercial, residential, hotel, or high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
