Job summary

Azizi Development UAE in Dubai is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare cost estimates for MEP construction projects. This role involves tender reviews, pricing analysis, supplier coordination, and supporting bid submissions.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 8–10 years of experience in UAE, and proficiency in AutoCAD and estimation software. The successful applicant will work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of UAE experience as an Electrical Estimator in MEP or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and authority regulations.
• Strong knowledge of market pricing, tendering procedures, and commercial evaluation.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare detailed estimates for electrical systems.
• Perform material take‑offs for cable containment, wiring, lighting, small power, panels, LV/MV equipment, and related systems.
• Prepare cost breakdowns including material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead components.
• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for cost comparison and technical compliance.
• Identify value engineering options to optimize costs and enhance competitiveness.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to validate estimate accuracy.
• Support tender clarifications, pre‑bid meetings, and post‑tender reviews.
• Prepare BOQ summaries, comparison sheets, and technical compliance statements.
• Ensure estimates align with project specifications and UAE authority regulations.
• Maintain updated databases of historical costs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
