Azizi Developments, a leading Dubai-based developer, is seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage project documents, submittals and correspondence across construction programs in the UAE. The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a consultant firm, and proficiency with EDMS such as Aconex.

You will maintain revision-controlled records, track submittal timelines, and support audits and project close-out. Face-to-face interview in the UAE is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline (Engineering or Business Administration preferred).
• 8+ years of experience as a Document Controller, with at least 3 years in a Consultant firm.
• Experience in Building Construction / Infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of construction documentation, submittal workflows and revision control.
• Hands-on experience with EDMS platforms such as Aconex or similar.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Must be based in the UAE and available for a face-to-face interview.

Aufgaben

• Receive, register, distribute and track all project documents, drawings, correspondence and reports.
• Manage submittals such as shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, NCRs and site instructions through the review and approval cycle.
• Prepare and issue transmittals, and track consultant responses and review timelines.
• Maintain document revision control and make sure only the latest approved versions are in circulation.
• Maintain and update the document management system (Aconex or similar) and the physical filing system.
• Prepare document status logs, submittal registers and periodic reports for the project team and management.
• Follow up with contractors and internal teams on pending submittals, overdue responses and outstanding actions.
• Manage incoming and outgoing letters, meeting minutes and contractual correspondence.
• Make sure documentation follows company procedures, project requirements and quality standards.
• Support audits and project close-out, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals and handover documents.
• Archive project records securely and keep them easy to retrieve.
