Job summary

Al-Futtaim in Dubai is seeking a Document Controller to manage all document movements, ensure correct numbering, formats, issuance, review, dispatch, recording, and archiving per the Design Management Plan.

You will supervise junior staff, train users of the drawing management system, liaise with designers and suppliers, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety, quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Management or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong IT skills with Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to train and supervise junior document control staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage document movements and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain and operate document control systems.
• Issue and distribute controlled copies per Design Management Plan.
• Liaise with designers and suppliers on information queries.
• Supervise and train junior Document Control staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
