Job summary

Consertus, a UAE-based client-focused project documentation governance role, is seeking a Document Controller in Abu Dhabi. You will archive and maintain incoming and outgoing project documents and drawings within the company's SOPs, ensuring confidentiality and timely distribution.

You'll type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence, manage drawing logs, and locate documents for authorized users. Diploma in any discipline and 5 years' related experience in construction/contracting are

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline.
• 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the Construction or Contracting industry.

Responsibilities

• Follow the company's standard operating procedures for submission of all documents.
• Type, format, proofread, and edit all correspondence and other documents.
• Receive, scan, and distribute documents to concerned employees.
• Ensure that all documents are dispatched to the respective recipients in a timely manner.
• Maintain and classify drawings (e.g. workshop drawings, as-built).
• Maintain and update a drawing log and update periodically.
• Locate and retrieve any documents/drawings requested from authorized users by searching through files and documents.
• Maintain an effective tracking process for all incoming and outgoing project related documents.
• Ensure that all documents and drawings remain confidential.
• Ensure that all documents are submitted in accordance to quality standards and submitted punctually.
