Job summary

CBD in Dubai seeks an experienced Corporate Banking professional to manage and grow a portfolio of major corporate clients. You will coordinate with the Corporate Unit Head to drive relationships, credit lines, and treasury sales.

You will lead a team of Assistant Relationship Managers, conduct annual reviews, and ensure adherence to underwriting standards while expanding services across corporate Banking offerings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics or Finance or Business Management.
• 10 years of experience in Corporate Banking with 5 years in Corporate Real Estate Financing in the UAE.
• Exposure to one or more emerging markets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage an assigned portfolio with existing corporate clients to retain and grow relationships profitably.
• Identify, solicit and acquire new corporate clients in line with strategy for assets, liabilities, trade and treasury sales.
• Negotiate appropriate credit lines in line with underwriting standards and risk targets.
• Make regular client visits for monitoring and business generation with timely reports.
• Plan with Client Service Team and cross-sell products to ensure multi-product relationships.
• Ensure effective internal/external communication to meet turnaround times and high client satisfaction.
• Ensure timely credit administration with annual reviews and monitoring of covenants and financials.
• Manage a team of Assistant Relationship Managers and Support Officers, set targets and conduct reviews.
