Job summary

Fugro is recruiting an experienced Contract Administrator for the Middle East & India, based in Dubai. You will manage contract administration from award to close-out, coordinating with Legal and project teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance on EPC projects.

The role requires a degree in Engineering/QS with legal training and 4-5 years of EPC project experience; offshore exposure is a plus. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a Construction related degree with post grad legal training.
• 4-5 years minimum of projects experience with EPC companies; offshore experience would be a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Confident in negotiating and executing contracts.
• Strong financial/commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of contractual terms from award through close-out and final settlement for small/medium projects.
• Coordinate with Legal and stakeholders to monitor contract compliance.
• Draft/respond to client correspondence and notices.
• Monitor project schedule and cashflow with the Project Controls Engineer to avoid overruns.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements and contract variances such as extensions of time.
• Attend client and subcontractor meetings and ensure minutes are recorded.
