Wood in Abu Dhabi invites a seasoned Senior Project Construction Manager to lead the Project Construction team, drive safety, and ensure brownfield execution aligns with project objectives. You will oversee planning, development, and operations to achieve safe, on-time delivery across complex scopes.

The role requires 20+ years in oil & gas construction management, strong leadership, and proven experience coordinating with ADNOC and global contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in management or equivalent.
• 20+ years of oil & gas construction management experience on major projects.
• Experience with contractors and suppliers worldwide.
• Technical leadership and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the review and implementation of all Contractor safety plans.
• Steward interfaces between Contractor and UZ Projects, Production Operations, and Drilling.
• Coordinate with ADNOC to execute brownfield works minimizing production disruption.
• Ensure detailed design deliverables support constructability.
• Report on construction progress, performance and issues to the Project Team.
• Lead construction planning to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities.
• Sponsor readiness reviews, constructability workshops and CERs.
• Mentor UAE Nationals in construction management.
• Communicate short and long-term goals of direct reports.
• Recognize outstanding performance and ensure staff development.
