Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an experienced Audit professional to lead and perform audits of the Group Compliance Function across the UAE and international network. You will influence change by advising management and escalating significant findings with actionable plans.

You will partner with EVP/SVP/VP heads of audit, conduct investigations when required, and promote a culture of ethics and strong governance. A background in compliance, risk and regulatory environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Post-graduate qualification or professional certification such as CAMS is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with an international bank or Big 4; internal audit preferred.
• Knowledge of compliance activities, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits of FAB Group Compliance Function across UAE and international network.
• Provide guidance and training to junior colleagues.
• Ensure audits are conducted per Annual Plan and report variances to management.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and act as Audit Business Partner for Line Managers.
• Identify and report control gaps; facilitate Management Action Plans.
• Support investigations and special reviews as required.
