Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a Compliance Assurance professional to establish a group-wide function, develop a testing plan and execute risk-based reviews ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on identifying material non-compliance and implementing effective mitigations across UAE units.

Minimum 4 years in a bank or auditing firm with 2+ years in compliance monitoring and testing is preferred; certification in compliance or internal audit is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Management, Banking or Finance, preferably with certification in compliance, corporate governance, risk management or internal audit.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a reputed bank or auditing firm.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance monitoring and testing activities or in auditing.
• Certification in compliance, corporate governance, risk management or internal audit is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing reviews within the Group.
• Support in the development of the UAE testing plan, testing schedules and working papers.
• Consult with relevant UAE departments to ensure coverage, scope and approach are planned and targeted.
• Execute compliance testing reviews (desk/thematic) with control design assessment and operational effectiveness testing.
• Prepare testing reports and track remediation activity.
• Contribute to evaluating and refining testing methodologies with local and global colleagues.
• Upload issues on the compliance issue management system.
• Support team members on ad hoc tasks.
