Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank FAB is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to lead and execute audits across the Consumer, Private & Business Banking Segments in the UAE and international network. The role requires strong understanding of governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to provide strategic advice to management and drive improvements.

The successful candidate will mentor junior staff, manage audit programs, and ensure timely, high-quality reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional qualification desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in International Banks or Big 4.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in audits of Consumer, Private & Business Banking Segments across FAB and international network.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff and promote best practices in governance and risk management.
• Monitor budgets and ensure activities align with approved plans and policies.
• Develop audit programs, assess governance and control effectiveness, and issue management action plans.
• Build strong relationships with management and act as Audit Business Partner for line managers.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports in line with Group requirements and quality standards.
