Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) invites applications for a senior audit role focusing on Consumer, Private & Business Banking Segments. The role covers UAE and international operations, requiring deep understanding of banking risks, controls, and regulatory expectations.

You will lead audits, guide junior staff, and ensure timely reporting of findings, while promoting FAB’s values and governance standards across the Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; post-graduate qualification and/or professional certification desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with an international bank or Big 4; internal audit experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; self-directed and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits of FAB Group Consumer, Private & Business Banking Segments across the UAE and international network.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training for junior colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• Promote ethics and values; ensure audits align with plans and report variances to management.
• Establish/update audit programs; conduct risk assessments and document controls and actions.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and act as Audit Business Partner to line managers.
