Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) seeks a seasoned Auditor to lead and perform Group Compliance Function audits across UAE and international networks. You will ensure alignment with the annual plan, report findings, and escalate significant issues for timely action.

The role requires 5+ years in banking/internal audit, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to guide junior colleagues while upholding FAB's values and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; relevant post-graduate qualification desirable (e.g. CAMS)
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with an international bank or Big 4; Internal Audit experience preferred
• Knowledge of compliance functions’ activities, processes and related risks; familiarity with Central Bank regulations is a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills; self-directed with ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform audits across the FAB Group Compliance Function in UAE and international networks.
• Ensure audits align with the Annual Plan and report delays or changes to Head of Audit.
• Provide guidance and training to junior colleagues; promote ethics and values.
• Develop and maintain Audit programs; coordinate with teams for effective coverage.
• Draft audit worksheets and reports; discuss findings with GIA management; agree Management Action Plans.
• Follow up on corrective actions and conduct investigations as assigned.
