Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai is seeking an Associate Director, Client Manager (UAE Nationals) to lead client account management within the Client Delivery team. The role involves proactive portfolio management, ensuring high service levels and effective coordination with GAMs, RAMs or FAMs on assigned clients.

Key responsibilities include overseeing maintenance activities, managing risk and compliance, driving process improvements, and preparing client files for audit while collaborating

Responsibilities

• Manage client portfolio maintenance activities and ensure timely handling of past dues and excesses.
• Escalate exceptions to RM/CA and coordinate with Operations on unsettled trades and cash releases.
• Support loan drawdown, cash management, and trade-related activities; participate in reviews and governance forums.
• Lead process improvement projects to enhance client experience and risk controls.
• Ensure AML, credit file quality and regulatory compliance for client portfolios.
