Job summary

Standard Chartered in Dubai seeks a Private Banking Support professional to assist Relationship Managers in achieving financial targets while delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. You will help with account openings, documentation, and ongoing client communications.

You will contribute to the fight against money laundering and fraud by adhering to policies and regulatory requirements, collaborating across risk, onboarding and operations to act as one cohesive bank ecosystem.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Private Banking experience, preferably in a Client Service role.
• Knowledge of banking practices and associated regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to speak/correspond with clients daily.
• Works well within a team of RMs and Client Service Officers.
• Eagerness to help others within the Client Service team.
• Ability to collaborate with Compliance, Onboarding, Risk and Operations while acting as one bank.

Responsibilities

• To help expand the private banking business by supporting RMs whilst maintaining effective oversight of the costs, risks and the control environment
• Drive profitable growth by servicing long-term relationships with HNW clients
• Provide professional, accurate and timely support to Relationship Managers
• Handling of RM’s Client calls and dealing with Clients professionally
• Produce high quality correspondence to clients and resolve client enquiries
• Adhere to the Bank’s policies and fight against money laundering and fraud
• Work with RMs to aid account opening and documentation submission to middle office
• Liaise with other SCB entities to open/manage accounts booked in other Bank Centres
• Provide assistance with booking Investment business trips
• Promptly handle client complaints with resolution and input into database
