Job summary

Consertus, Inc. in UAE-Sharjah seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to advise and assist the Resident Engineer in supervising on-site construction activities to ensure quality assurance and quality control from start to completion of the project.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 10–12 years of experience with at least 4 years in a similar position, certification or membership of a Society of Engineers, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Revit a plus).

Qualifications

• Experience with consultancy or contracting companies.
• Proficiency in reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor submittals and CCS prior to approval by the RE.
• Inspect on-site materials for compliance with specs/ministerial requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly construction progress reports.
• Maintain on-site quality control and safety oversight.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings with clients and residents.
