Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking a Senior QA/QC Civil Engineer to lead quality assurance activities on civil projects in the UAE. You will implement the QMS, review submittals, and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and contract requirements.

The role requires strong QA/QC experience across the full project lifecycle, including earthworks, concrete, structural and finishing works, with attention to ITPs, method statements and material approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related).
• Minimum 8 years as a Supervision Consultant in the GCC region.
• QA/QC across full lifecycle with ITPs, Method Statements and Material Approvals.
• Strong communication, coordination, reporting and documentation skills.
• Candidates inside the UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QMS per project specs, applicable codes and ISO 9001.
• Review contractor submittals: ITPs, Method Statements, Material Approvals and QA/QC docs.
• Conduct site inspections, surveillance and quality audits for civil works.
• Monitor activities across earthworks, concrete, structural elements and finishes.
• Identify NCRs, issue corrective/preventive actions and ensure closure.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports and QA/QC records.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective QA procedures.
• Support continual quality improvement initiatives.

About the job SENIOR QA/QC CIVIL ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Review and assess contractor submittals, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Approvals, and quality-related documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections, surveillance, and quality audits to ensure civil, structural, and finishing works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Monitor construction activities across the full project lifecycle, including earthworks, concrete works, structural elements, and finishes, to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions; follow up on closure and effectiveness.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate quality reports, inspection records, and QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure effective implementation of quality procedures and timely resolution of quality issues.
• Support continual improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance on the project.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or other relevant discipline) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Supervision Consultant within the GCC region .
• Demonstrated QA/QC experience covering the full project lifecycle, including civil, structural, and finishing works , with strong exposure to ITPs, Method Statements, and Material Approvals .
• Certified Quality Professional (e.g., ASQ, CQI, IRCA ) preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Candidates inside the UAE are preferred.
