Job summary

Tektora are supporting an established defence technology client in Abu Dhabi, seeking a Senior C++ Engineer for RF applications. You will work on real-time, multi-threaded software close to hardware, from design through bring-up to verified product, in a collaborative R&D team.

The role requires 10+ years in C++, strong OO design, multithreading, and experience with Git/Jira/Conan, Linux, labs. International relocation is supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven software development experience.
• Extensive C++, including modern standards
• Object-oriented design principles — a prerequisite, not a nice-to-have
• Extensive multi-threaded, real-time software design, implementation and debugging
• Standard development tooling — Git, Jira or another issue tracker, Conan or a comparable package manager
• MSc in Computer Engineering or similar
• C and/or Python
• Docker
• Hands-on with lab equipment — signal generators, spectrum analysers, logic analysers, oscilloscopes
• Software-defined radio, DSP or another RF-adjacent domain

Tektora are supporting an established defence technology client building radio frequency products in Abu Dhabi, and are looking to speak with experienced C++ engineers for their R&D team.

This role is open to relocation. The client is actively considering candidates from outside the UAE and will support the move for the right person.

This role would suit a systems-level C++ engineer who wants to be close to the hardware — real-time, multi-threaded software driving RF applications, taken from design through bring-up to a verified product.

The Role

You will be involved in:
