Job summary

Tektora in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer for RF applications. You’ll work on real-time, multi-threaded software close to hardware, from design through bring-up to a verified product, within an established defence technology client’s R&D team.

The role requires 10+ years of software development, extensive C++ knowledge, Linux experience (Ubuntu desirable), OO design, and experience with Git/Jira/Conan.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven software development experience.
• Proficiency in C++, including modern standards.
• Strong object-oriented design principles.
• Extensive Linux experience; Ubuntu desirable.
• Extensive multi-threaded, real-time software design, implementation and debugging.
• Experience with standard development tooling—Git, Jira or similar, Conan or a comparable package manager.
• MSc in Computer Engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, optimising and integrating software for radio frequency applications.
• Working across the product development lifecycle — inception and design, bring-up, optimisation and verification.
• Implementing algorithms handed over from the domain specialists.
• Designing and building tests and test interfaces to validate your own code.
• Applying sound design principles throughout.
