Job summary

Client of Cognitive in Abu Dhabi UAE is seeking an experienced C Engineer to design, develop, and optimize embedded software for RF applications. You will participate in the product lifecycle from inception to bring-up, optimization, and verification, applying good design principles and tests to validate your code.

The role requires 10+ years of proven software development experience, extensive C/C++ expertise, Linux/Ubuntu familiarity, and RTOS knowledge. A B.Sc.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or similar.
• 10+ years of proven software development experience.
• Excellent C/C++ programming track record.
• Strong Linux and RTOS experience.
• RF DSP knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize and integrate embedded software for RF applications.
• Participate in the product development lifecycle from inception to bring-up, optimization, verification.
• Implement algorithms developed from the domain and design tests/test interfaces to validate code.

Design develop optimize and integrate embedded software for radio frequency related applicationsParticipate in the product development lifecycle from inception and design to bring-up optimization verificationUse good design principles for software developmentImplement algorithms that are developed from the domainDesign and implement tests and test interfaces to validate your code

Bonus Skills

Programming C and or PythonRTOS development such as FreeRTOS VxWorks ZephyrExperience using lab equipment signal generators spectrum analysers logic analysers or oscilloscopes
