Job summary

ProgressSoft Corporation in the UAE is seeking a Business Development Manager with 5–10 years of banking and payments sales experience to drive the entire sales cycle from cold calls to contracts. You will build relationships with senior bank staff and shape market strategy for UAE while coordinating with Product and Technical teams.

The role requires strong English communications, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of banking and payments systems.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sales in UAE banking/financial sector.
• Ability to engage with staff at all levels and decision makers.
• Excellent command of English; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of banking and payments systems.
• Organized, focused, ambitious and independent.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and enhance sales targets established by ProgressSoft.
• Prepare and execute a sales plan for UAE's market aligned with ProgressSoft's strategy.
• Manage the full sales cycle, coordinating with Product Owners, Project Managers and Technical Team Leaders.
• Collaborate with the ProgressSoft team to engage with customers and understand their requirements.
• Work with the Bidding Team to deliver proposals detailing business requirements and capabilities.
• Negotiate proposals and contracts for solutions and recurring maintenance.
• Maintain and update client profiles in ProgressSoft's CRM.
• Prepare comparison sheets between ProgressSoft and competitors.
• Identify new markets and opportunities for growth.
• Develop strong distribution channels with global, regional, and local firms.
