Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank in the UAE seeks an experienced Internal Auditor to lead and conduct audits across the Consumer, Private & Business Banking segments in the UAE and international network, assessing governance, risk management and controls.

You will provide advice to management, prepare risk assessments, maintain audit programs, and ensure timely reporting. Strong communication, analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; post-graduate qualification desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant internal audit experience with an international bank or Big 4 preferred.
• Experience with Consumer, Private & Business Banking segments and regulatory reporting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits of FAB Group Consumer, Private & Business Banking segments across UAE and international network.
• Assess governance, risk management and control processes; identify weaknesses and report findings.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior colleagues; promote ethics and value-driven culture.
• Coordinate with Head of Audit on issues affecting FAB Group; develop action plans with management.
• Prepare risk assessments and maintain audit programs; ensure timely audit reports and follow-up.
