Job summary

Al Tayer Group in Dubai seeks an experienced accounting professional to support day-to-day accounting activities, ensure procedural controls, and reflect the company’s financial health accurately. The role involves reconciliations, MIS reporting, budgeting support, and assisting auditors across a dynamic business environment.

The successful candidate will have a B Com and 3–5 years of experience in a medium-sized group, with knowledge of SOA and financial policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce with accounting focus.
• 3–5 years experience in a medium-sized group.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with SOA and financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts between GL, external parties and sub-ledgers.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports: balance sheet and P&L.
• Assist auditors and implement recommendations.
• Conduct periodic cash audits.
• Process payments per SOA and policies.
• Analyse debtors and enforce credit policy.
• Sort and dispatch invoices.
• Compile data on operating expenses for budgets.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting.
• Count fixed assets and inventory for valuation.
• Account for service contracts, Salik and traffic fines.
• Prepare cash movement reports.
