Job summary

Al Tayer Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities, ensure control and compliance with procedures, and reflect the company’s financial health accurately.

You will reconcile accounts, prepare management information reports, assist auditors, participate in budgeting and forecasting, and support cash and fixed asset processes to help management review performance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Ability to support internal/external audits and implement recommendations.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on accounting activities and ensure control and compliance of procedures and schedule of authority.
• Reconcile accounts between General ledger, external parties and sub ledgers.
• Prepare Management Information Reports including monthly balance sheet and P&L for management review.
• Assist auditors and implement recommendations to improve the system.
• Conduct periodic cash audits and ensure payments align with SOA and policies.
• Analyze, reconcile, and follow up on debtors to ensure credit policy adherence.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting and finalize budgets with line management.
• Conduct counts of fixed assets and inventory for valuation and usability.
