Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking an accounting professional in Dubai to reconcile accounts across ledgers, prepare monthly management information reports, and assist audits. The role includes cash reconciliation, ensuring payments align with policies, and monitoring debtors under the credit policy.

The candidate will also compile operating expense data for budgeting and forecasting, and conduct counts of fixed assets, inventory, and service contracts such as Salik and traffic fines.

Qualifications

• BCom graduate.
• 3 to 5 years experience in a medium size group.

• Reconcile accounts between general ledger, external parties and sub ledgers.
• Prepare monthly management information reports including balance sheet and profit and loss.
• Assist internal and external auditors and implement recommendations.
• Perform periodic cash audits and cash till reconciliation.
• Ensure payments follow SOA and financial policies.
• Analyse and follow up on debtors accounts per credit policy.
• Compile operating expense data for sales and margin budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct periodic counts of fixed assets and trading inventory.
• Account for service contracts, Salik and traffic fines.
