Job summary

Epic Piping is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. You will oversee daily accounting activities, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and analysis, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software, and strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Masters in Accounts.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or related area.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including financial reporting, AP/AR, and budgeting/analysis.
• Review invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Process three-way PO matching for invoices with 100+ line items.
• Handle salary processing via WPS, VAT submissions, EOSB, and vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies; assist month-end close.
• Maintain files per policy; supervise junior accounting staff.

• Overseeing day to day accounting activities including financial reporting accounts payable and receivable and budgeting and financial analysis
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Process 3 way P O matching invoices up to 100 plus line items
• Process check requests
• Respond to all vendor inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements research and correct discrepancies
• Assist in month end closing and reporting
• Maintain files and documentation in accordance with Company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Salary Processing WPS System VAT Submission Accounts Auditing Processing of EOSB Supervision of the junior accounting staff
