Job summary

Titan Consultancy in Dubai is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, understands basic accounting principles, and is eager to gain international exposure in the UAE.

You will maintain daily entries, assist with AP/AR, prepare invoices and vouchers, and support month-end closures and VAT submissions. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is expected, with attention to detail and deadline-driven teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Exposure to ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries and record financial transactions in accounting software or ERP systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

Key Responsibilities

strong Accounting amp Finance strong

• Maintain daily accounting entries and record financial transactions in accounting software or ERP systems
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Prepare invoices
• payment vouchers
• receipts and other accounting documents
• Assist with bank reconciliations
• cash book maintenance and petty cash records
• Track expenses and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions

strong Reporting amp Compliance strong

• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports and statements
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in preparing documentation for VAT submissions
• Maintain accounting records in line with company policies and accounting procedures
• Support internal and external audits whenever required

strong Coordination amp Documentation strong

• Maintain organised accounting files and financial records
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for invoice verification and payment-related clarifications
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager

• Bachelor s degree in Commerce Accounting Finance or a related field
• 1 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
• Exposure to ERP or accounting systems will be an advantage
