Dove Contracting LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the general ledger, manage month-end closings, and provide critical insights for strategic decision-making. Qualifications

• Must hold active CPA or ACCA designation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive corporate or public accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and hands-on ERP experience with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite.

Responsabilités

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Draft balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variances reports.
• Review and approve bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage statutory filings including corporate tax and VAT, IFRS/US GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare required schedules and documentation.
• Support leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; mentor junior staff.

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure robust financial health. In this role, you will take ownership of our general ledger, lead closing processes, and provide critical data to guide strategic business decisions. You will bridge the gap between day-to-day bookkeeping and high-level financial planning, ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage Closings: Oversee the complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.
• Prepare Financials: Draft accurate balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and budget-versus-actual variance reports.
• Oversee Reconciliations: Review and approve bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany account reconciliations.
• Tax & Compliance: Manage and file statutory requirements, including corporate tax and VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with IFRS or US GAAP.
• Audit Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, preparing necessary schedules, files, and documentation.
• Support Leadership: Assist finance managers with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while mentoring junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• Professional Certification: Active and fully qualified CPA or ACCA designation is mandatory.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8+ years of progressive corporate or public accounting experience.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and hands‑on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of local statutory laws.
