• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable including aging review and follow-up on collections.
• Prepare and review invoices receipts payment vouchers and expense reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor and forecast cash flow.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals prepayments depreciation and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports (profit and loss balance sheet cash flow).
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and maintain FTA-compliant documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and maintain proper filing and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Contribute to strengthening internal controls policies and procedures.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the companys day-to-day accounting operations in Dubai. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience with a strong command of accounting principles month-end and year-end closing and UAE VAT compliance. Knowledge of SAP is preferred. The candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy and support management with accurate and timely financial reporting.
