Job summary

EMIRATES GLOBAL ALUMINIUM (EGA) in Abu Dhabi seeks a Security Manager to implement and supervise departmental policies and manage incidents effectively. The role involves planning Security training and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 4-6 years of relevant experience in EHSFS, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and is bilingual in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 10 years of relevant experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in EHSFS in manufacturing, with increasing managerial responsibilities.
• Experience in a multi-national team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and supervise departmental policies and procedures for Security.
• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring compliance with policies.
• Supervise incident investigation processes and report incidents effectively.
• Plan and conduct Security training courses to promote awareness.
• Control maintenance and testing of Security protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management policies.
• Manage and supervise Security department staff to meet performance targets.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

Skills

Bilingual in Arabic and English

Certified Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)

Knowledge of ISPS Code

Knowledge of Electronic Security Access Control Systems

Knowledge of CCTV Security Systems

Knowledge of fire systems

Proficient in SAP applications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
